Jewish Synagogue

On Tuesday 21st and Thursday 23rd January, Year 5 pupils visited a local synagogue as part of their Religious Education studies. They explored Jewish traditions, learned about the Torah scrolls, and discovered the significance of key symbols like the menorah. The Rabbi’s insights and a tour of the prayer hall sparked curiosity and thoughtful discussions. Pupils were particularly fascinated by the intricate Hebrew writing and the care taken in handling sacred texts. The visit was an enriching experience, deepening their understanding of Judaism and fostering respect for different faiths and cultures.
